Allianz Asia Pacific Celebrates Women’s Leadership and Inclusion with #SheSecures International Women’s Day Event

Singapore, 7 March 2025

Allianz Asia Pacific hosted a special International Women’s Day event on March 6, 2025, under the theme "Empowering Women, Securing Futures." The event brought together over 100 participants, including Allianz employees, business leaders, and industry experts, for a day of mentorship, leadership development, and networking.

The event, a first for Allianz Asia, featured two expert panel discussions focusing on practical strategies for women’s leadership, financial security, and career advancement. Attendees also engaged in interactive sessions designed to equip them with insights and tools to navigate their professional journeys.

Expanding #SheSecures: A Platform for Women’s Growth and Inclusion

Women play a critical role in shaping Allianz’s success, contributing at all levels of the organization:

  • 57% of Allianz Asia Pacific employees are women, with 46% holding leadership roles
  • 59% of Allianz Asia Pacific agency leaders are women, contributing more than 50% growth across all key performance metrics
  • 45% of Allianz Asia Pacific customers are women

Launched in June 2024 to support women in distribution channels, #SheSecures has grown into a broader initiative for professional development, mentorship, and financial literacy across all employees and customers.

Since its launch, #SheSecures has been activated across multiple Allianz markets, with notable initiatives including:

  • China’s “Night of Blossoms” event – Honouring 20 outstanding female agents for their excellence in agency sales, featuring a calligraphy session, award ceremony, and gala dinner.
  • Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia – Celebrating and recognising top-performing female agents.
  • Taiwan’s "Amazing U" event – A high-impact forum designed to strengthen professional relationships through mentorship and collaboration.

What’s next: Scaling #SheSecures Across the Region

Moving forth, #SheSecures will drive tangible impact by equipping more women with tailored products, advanced leadership training, and expanded networking opportunities to support their career and business growth.

The initiative aligns with Allianz’s broader mission to secure the future of its people, customers, and partners, reinforcing the belief that unity and allyship are key to building a more prosperous world where all individuals, regardless of background, can thrive.
