Allianz Asia Pacific celebrated the launch of the second year of its MoveNow Mentoring Program. In collaboration with Halogen Foundation and Singapore Disability Sports Council, the initiative aims to empower young talents and para-athletes by equipping them with the skills, confidence, and networks needed for a successful transition into the workforce.
Building on the success of its 2024 debut, the initiative has already made a measurable impact. Last year, over 75% of mentees reported gaining clarity in their core values and passions, helping them make more informed career decisions. Many also discovered new strengths that boosted their confidence, and left the program with a better understanding of career pathways, first-job expectations, and a clearer roadmap for the future.

In 2024, Allianz MoveNow Mentoring Program was named a finalist for the Corporate Excellence Award at the National Mentoring Summit, organised by Mentoring SG and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY). This recognition affirms the program’s early success and its commitment in supporting youth and para-athletes in Singapore through structured, purpose-driven mentoring.
In its second year, the program has seen double the participation of mentees, each paired with a dedicated mentor. Together, they form a growing ecosystem of leaders committed to sharing insights, refining the mentorship experience, and creating even more opportunities for young professionals and para-athletes to thrive.

The launch event, held at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering, featured an inspiring keynote by Singapore Paralympian Sophie Soon, who shared her personal story of resilience and perseverance. Icebreaking activities led by Halogen Foundation set the tone for connection and energy, followed by one-on-one mentor-mentee sessions that laid the foundation for impactful relationships.
Allianz and its partners remain committed to equipping the next generation with essential skills, confidence, industry insights, and the mindset to thrive. By narrowing the opportunity gap, the MoveNow Mentoring Program continues to pave the way for a more inclusive and future-ready workforce.
